The Multispan Control Instruments Private Limited had a modest beginning in 1986 in a 1200 square foot workshop space. This manufacturer and supplier company was established on the principles of offering inexpensive and user-friendly panel mounted temperature controllers for injection moulding, extrusion, and other manufacturers of plastic processing machinery in India. Between 1990 and 1995, the company expanded the range of products it offered, adding digital timers and counters to control panels to complement temperature controllers. Over 50 devices were converted from solid-state based technology to micro-controller based design by the companys R&D activities between 1995 and 2000.

The company setup space was approximately 3500 square feet at the time. Today our array consists of PID Modules Temperature Controller, Single And Dual Channel Signal Isolator, 15A AC DC Compatible Meter, Earth To Neutral Voltage Relay, etc., in various specifications.

Based on actual industrial experiments performed for a variety of locally produced machine types that were suited for the industrial environment in India, PID based technology was first used to temperature control behavior in 2003. Multispan products, which currently number more than 100, are employed in industrial machinery all around the country. More than 10,000 square feet of space was added to the factory and office.
